IT ALL STARTS WITH DESIGN.
We joke in the studio that our clients essentially ‘choose their own adventure’ with House of Stiles & Co. given we are both a design and build studio. This allows us to be by your side during any or all phases of your renovation/build project depending on which Studio Retainers you select.
In the preliminary stage, we start with design concepts, samples & selections, and supplying your bespoke cabinetry. To ensure design integrity, we can consolidate all the design considerations into one information packed document for our build team or a contractor of your choice.
Should you choose us as your build team for the construction phase, we diligently switch from designer mode to focus on Design Management and collaboration with your trusted build team.
Why stop there? Let’s go all the way to post-construction phase where we support the final touches with move management, installation, and organization. Literally “all the things.” Let’s fill your home, office, vacation property or boutique hotel with all the new furnishings, accessories, and art with our procurement services.
Each design retainer has a unique combination of functions that we execute during each phase of your renovation/build project.
Those functions essentially define our teams role and scope of work that is included in your Studio Retainer.
Gone are the days we charge hourly (unless you want us to).

1 / THE SIGNATURE
Perfect for new construction or renovation projects in mind where structural improvements and new cabinets are in order - - and you or another contractor bring our design to life.
We design, supply, and deliver your custom cabinetry with a thoughtful approach to your design only project. We ensure that your design will be cohesive throughout and capture every component in a client portal such as your design look book, flooring, tile, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, fixtures, windows, doors, paint, wall coverings, interior furnishings and more are all captured in a client portal.
Will you be working with another contractor or building this yourself? Upgrade to include detailed design documentation to hand off to a builder/contractor of your choice. You're off to a great start!

2 / THE CRAFTSMAN
Now it’s time to bring your Signature design to life with our trusted team of Craftsmen. Given we know your design intimately, we now draw our focus to Design Management.
We commit to collaborating with your build team throughout the project to ensure that they have all approved design selections and specifications.
We value transparency so we prefer to pass the savings (no mark up) onto our clients and allow direct billing with our select House of Stiles & Co. Craftsmen and Partners.

3 / THE ESTATE
We know how much work it takes to run and operate an Estate let alone renovate one. This retainer ‘takes you there’ and we design, build and coordinate it all as if we are your temporary Estate Manager. We gradually guide you through the design/build/move/install process to not inundate you with unnecessary decisions. We are with you from start to finish and promise to leave once we move you in. You could literally go on a sabbatical and come home to a new estate.

Team up with a Principal Designer for ‘in the moment’ design/build support and mentorship at any stage in your Do It yourself renovation. Perfect for those clients who are venturing to build on their own and just need a boost of confidence in making critical decisions.
